Strangely ephemeral, but not necessarily beautiful. I'm not even sure black is his natural hair color, but it's what looks best on him.

His natural colour is, according to him, "auburn." Which is actor-speak for ginger. :D

Isn't ginger a particular kind of red, though? One of my favorite actors has auburn hair (and is Irish) but I've been told he's not light/bright enough to be considered ginger.

Yeah, he's not the bright carrot top type of ginger. More sort of red end of blonde. Quite nice. I like red hair actually.
