LOL I don't think I'd even notice the eating thing... Anyway I'm always munching crisps and filled rolls on trains myself, and if I'm not eating on public transport then I've got my music turned up loud enough to drown out all external noise.

One of my peeves would be when a bunch of people walk towards you in a solid line than fills the whole width of the pavement and not one of them makes any move to fall behind the others and make space for you to pass, so even if you're laden down with heavy shopping bags you're forced to step into the gutter and walk round them, or else to barge your way through their line aggressively. This form of 'chicken' is amazingly common in Stirling - pretty much normal, in fact.

I hate people eating noisily. They should be sent to 'Improving One's Manners' school.
