Theatre: Damian O'Hare in "Double Feature"

Double Feature at the National Theatre (at the Paintframe - can't wait to see that!) got mixed reviews so far. Most critics love Double Feature 1 and don't like Double Feature 2 much; looking at the available information on the plays, I could imagine that they are "love it or hate it" material. The "soldiers and thugs" icon is perfect. Because it's true! I haven't given hope he'll play Doctor Who one day, though. He'd be perfect. ;)

His death scenes should last for a lifetime. When I saw the picture, I just rolled my eyes - "oh well, there he goes again."

I'm really curious what he looks like in "real", because sometimes I feel like all photographers are part of a conspiracy to take pictures of him when he looks his grumpiest, heh! Looks like I really have to put Ireland on my travel plans for next year; studying narkiness. ;)

*shakes head* I just got the joke after FINALLY looking at the captions accompanying the pictures.... and I would like to say the following:

Seriously, though... thanks for sharing these! I may not ever get back across the Atlantic to see him on stage, but I can sure enjoy looking at pictures!

Seconded! Enough with the dying already. We demand happy endings!

It's not much easier catching him on stage if you were in Europe. I managed not to see him three times, because every time, something happened which kept me from travelling. First I was sick, then the flight got cancelled, and then there was a bomb scare at the airport. When I heard of the riots I thought "oh, great - the O'Hare curse is at work again!"

Looks like things should go ahead this time, though. I'll report back. :)

Definitely. I'll try not to yell at him to get up during the performance, though. :D I want a happy ending JUST FOR ONCE, do I ask for too much, dammit? *grumble*
