Something for the "Grovites" - Interview with Greg Ellis

May 31, 2011 08:32

An interesting "behind-the-scenes" interview with the nice Greg Ellis who talks about the role of nice Mr. Groves in a nice movie. :-P Nice Damian O'Hare is mentioned, that's how I found it. :-)

"Is Lieutenant Commander Groves taking over from Jack Davenport’s Norrington character in the previous films?"

Thank you so much for posting this.

*sniffle* Someday I will be able to read this without getting up to blink away that pesky water in my eyes. Today is not that day.

*deep breath* Still... trying to keep my flailing about how Greg Ellis seems so nice and thoughtful and sweet and smart and funny to a minimum. <--- (Not working terribly well, by the way...)

I cracked up a bit at the "pirate for a weekend" line. I am... totally not seriously considering crack!fic where that actually happens. Not at all. ;-)

Now, they just need to catch up with Damian and ask him some of the same things about Gillette... (Yeah, if wishes were horses, I know...)

"I'm gonna be a pirate! For a whole WEEKEND! EEEEEEEEEEEE!"

"Yes, Groves."

"Quite. Enjoy Murtogg and Mullroy as your bunkmates, Theo!"

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

*crestfallen look*

"You mean... I don't get to bunk with Jack?"

LOL. I think... I may not be able to go about without a stupid grin on my face for a while now.

I once wrote him as a pirate. It was fun to write, but I felt like everybody in that story was out of character, hehe!

they just need to catch up with Damian and ask him some of the same things about Gillette

I better go and get myself a warm sweater, because once that happens, it will be a very cold day in hell! :-D

Btw. Greg Ellis is on Twitter, if you want to know the latest news or say hello (looks like he's sometimes replying to his fans). http://twitter.com/#!/ellisgreg
