Wow that is a really gorgeous ink stand. I do hope it is genuine. But even if it isn't, it is still something worth having (though, perhaps not the 15,000 pounds they brought it for!). ♥

I choose to believe it was them. How many other couples with those two same names would have picked out a sea-themed ink stand?

I'm a bit surprised there's a taper stick but no pen holder. Or maybe the ink globe was supposed as the pen holder also? And the figurine's base looks suspiciously box-like, maybe it was also some container?
