I can only go by interviews and DVD behind the scenes stuff, but from all that he does seem like a really sweet kind of guy. And that doesn't appear to be put on, since if it is he's a better actor than peoplee give him credit for!
I do think he's now and again been given a role he didn't quite have the chops for yet, like in Kingdom of Heaven. In such epic movies I think he's more suited to supporting than lead roles. I guess Hollywood doesn;t know quite what to do with him. They know the ladies love him and he's obviously ridiculously good looking, so they want to put him in lead roles. But he's not quite a typical Hollywood action hero either.
My theory on Orlando - he would have belonged best in the silent movie era. I base that mostly on his performance as Legolas, where the physical was just as important as the verbal. Legolas doesn't even talk a lot. It's all about the way he moves! :D
Anyway, I'll shut up now! I wish him the best and hope his missus doesn't get too much stick from angry fangirls.

I can take or leave him because he is not my type...so.not...and too young for my liking anyway. So I can cheerfully wish them all the happiness in the world. May the not get stalked by rabid fangirls.
