It's the little stories, like the one of Hatch, which make history interesting and more "real". I'm as interested in the fate of a little dog as the one of a big king.
London? Huuuh. Depends on what you're looking for. All I can say is "avoid the tube at all costs". It's been a nightmare this time. And check for strikes. At the moment, visiting London takes as much planning as an expedition to the Amazon. But if I can help you with anything, please yell. :-)

I like the story a lot; it's one of those small tales that one will remember for a long while, much more so than the dates of "important" battles or the names of kings. :)
