On our third day of Snowpocalypse 2011, cabin fever is starting to set in, especially with the littlest Lanterman. I'm trying to have various projects planned for us to do together each day, lest I completely give in to the temptation to put him down in front of the Blues Clues Marathon and sleep all day. Amen, sister. We're not in the middle of a snowpocalypse (though we do certainly have snow), but I am still home alone with Cecily for way more hours than I'm used to (due to only doing one of my two jobs for the time being). The last time I remember being home with her this much, she was a younger baby! Now it's a whole new ballgame: she won't stay still to have her diaper changed or to be fed, and she constantly wants attention, variety, and/or to be doing what I'm doing. I'm amazed she's actually playing with her wire maze right now and letting me type this.
What we need is some interaction with other stay-home parents and their babies. But I have only met a few since moving here, and I can't seem to get in contact with them. I'll keep trying ...
