This momming is exhausting.

Amen, sister. We're not in the middle of a snowpocalypse (though we do certainly have snow), but I am still home alone with Cecily for way more hours than I'm used to (due to only doing one of my two jobs for the time being). The last time I remember being home with her this much, she was a younger baby! Now it's a whole new ballgame: she won't stay still to have her diaper changed or to be fed, and she constantly wants attention, variety, and/or to be doing what I'm doing. I'm amazed she's actually playing with her wire maze right now and letting me type this.

What we need is some interaction with other stay-home parents and their babies. But I have only met a few since moving here, and I can't seem to get in contact with them. I'll keep trying ...
