Sorry to come to your journal for this, but I didn't see an email address. I just wanted to let you know that duckienikki added me as a reviewer. She told me to pick people off the top of the list to review, but then someone I was going to review informed me that she was behind about 30 other people ona different list. So she linked me to that one... which was your assignment list.
I previously stated in a comment that I was taking 7olita and evil_alice, but I'm retracting that statement. I'll wait till next week when you hand out the assignments again (I can take 3-5 journals a week). Thanks.
No, it was definitely you that Draconid and I were talking about. I can give you a link to the conversation if it hasn't been deleted (the lenient reviewer came in, it was on draconid's personal journal, and then things got ugly) but I can't get to it right now. I'm in the school technology center and I can get onto LJ but they block Blurty out. :-(
Oh *whacks head* I just got the part about "Harry moans in bed." When I was reading that part of the 5th book with Dudley and Harry, combined with the fact that Dudley had become muscular and much more the conventional street-corner juvenile delinquent, I thought he was referring to being another kind of brave in bed.
But even though that didn't end up being what he meant, I'm sure the brief sexual innuendo was deliberate on Rowling's part. She has a way of mentioning things in passing a couple years before they happen.
If you even want to have an extended discussion on Harry Potter, by all means, include me. :-)
