Catholic Should Not Vote for Barack Obama garretmurtagh June 30 2008, 23:08:05 UTC
First off, let's make one thing clear. Barack Obama has absolutely no qualifications to be president. I am no John McCain supporter but find that I almost half to be because I'm so scared of what Obama will do to this country. Second, we're not losing in Iraq and Obama has stated that he will pull troops out before the job is done. Third, I, as a Catholic, do consider the War in Iraq to be a 'life issue'. Think of how many soldiers will die if we stay there for another five years. Three thousand more trained soldiers, probably much less. Think of how many American civilians will die if we pull out. Three thousand. We'll have multiple repeats of 9/11 unless we take an the aggressive position of John McCain, not the 'Let's tell the bad guys when we're leaving so they'll regroup and be ready to take over the day we leave' position of Barack Obama.
