Summary: Drabble. Ianto is late and Jack fears that day has finally arrived - the day he must say goodbye.
Authors Notes: Written for day 4's picture prompt (cars driving in a snow storm) at redismycolour
Ianto was late. The inevitable day had arrived; Ianto must have crashed and be upside down in a snow bank slowly freezing to death. Jack frantically checked the CCTV, news reports, even the latest hospital admissions and police accident reports. He should have been here to take the call and drive the SUV instead. It was his fault Ianto had crashed and was freezing to death alone, hoping Jack would come find him, that he wouldn’t let him down -
Jack finally spotted him on the CCTV and smiled with relief. Ianto was home. It was not that day.
