Watching History

I will be curious to know how yesterday will be remembered in the history books. I am curious to know if any history books will truly be able to convey how monumental yesterday was. I am making a t-shirt with a picture of Virginia on it, in blue.

When the election was called, everyone was like "YAY!! OBAMA WON!!" I was like "YAAAY!! VIRGINIA WENT BLUE!!!!", for something like hours afterwards. They were like "yeah, we get it." They just don't understand.

I know exactly what you mean. not only did virginia go blue, but freaking prince william county went blue!!!!! I never in a million years thought that could happen. I have never been so proud of my home town. Obama was actulally in manasas for a rally the night before the election at which like 400,000 people showed up. They talked about that on msnbc during the election covereage and I got to be the expert on virginia AND got to be like YES MY MOM, SISTER, AND ALL THEIR FRIENDS WERE AT THAT RALLY!! I don't know if I have ever been so proud in my life.
