As a young person, I have witnessed and experienced the burnout, and I'm not even working for these types of organizations. As newspapers keep cutting staff, even those on that one daily deadline crunch feel the pressure because there are fewer reporters trying to get the same amount of work accomplished.

I had noticed the frequent and numerous Politico job listings though, so this helped explain it.

I'm a young person who opted to do something else with myself after a while, because I didn't want to become a 'mojo' working out of my car.
