Some babies are cute. Some are adorable enough so you think you'll like them.

This one is just plain ugly.

Something seems "off" about her. Does she have Trisomy 21?

Nah, she's just really brand-new. Most of 'em come out kinda squashed and puffy like that. Comes from getting pushed through an opening half the size of their heads. (That's why the cute newborn pictures always show them with little hats on--they say it's to keep baby warm, but it's really to hide the squishy conehead). Most babies don't actually get cute until about three months later, if they ever do.

Mine still bears an uncanny resemblance to Winston Churchill in his worse moments.
