The “Oman factor” that I addressed in a previous article has been confirmed in the eyes of the chief adversaries in the Persian Gulf. We learned on February 7 that Iran and Oman have agreed that their navies would cooperate in the region of the Persian Gulf’s strategically important artery - the Strait of Hormuz and adjacent waters.
