This post is both beautiful and absolutely heart breaking. ;^; My mom did animal rescue for about 10 years so I know how stupid and cruel people are.

I'm sorry you had to go through all of that. The cats are gorgeous and your dog is freakin adorable. <3

I dunno. I keep finding them before I can consider myself ready to foster with an actual 501. I've worked with or talked to several of the groups around here. They all have it pretty rough.

It's not like I didn't have any idea how people are jerks to pets. My parents showed dogs, so I'm quite well versed in the stupid shit people do. But dang. I somehow forget, when speaking to individuals, how little worth people give pets. Especially in the south.
