Is this happening along with game canon? I'm just curious because so far there haven't been references to canon events.

Never mind, just looked at the AU part. I apparently fail at reading comprehension.

Naw, it's okay. Basically everything in the game up to the end of October did happen in our universe, it just goes AU from there. So Naoto was rescued and is part of the team. We just ignored the game's November surprise drama. We're still figuring out what to do with the Fog and the antagonists. In this AU since Naoto's return, no one else has been kidnapped.

tl;dr you can reference anything that happened in game up to the end of October because it did happen. After that we're just merrily rolling along. Hope you're enjoying the RP! I know we enjoy your participation!
