Star Trek (2009)

Summary: JJ Abrams and Leonard Nimoy got together and wrote an EPIC FANFIC that they decided to film and it was AWESOME! Young cadet Kirk (and company) of the Star Fleet Academy soon finds himself ensnared in a battle against Spock's enemies from the future. Epic win ensues!

Hahahaha, thank you! I'm actually super excited for the DVD release (omg screen capping spree) and the sequel. I really want to watch more of the original series (mostly for Leonard Nimoy being awesome), since I never really got a chance to in childhood. When we were growing up it was TNG, Voyager, and Deep Space Nine. TOS was very rarely repeated on TV then.

He was soooo adorable and cute! And his jumping up and being all "I can do it!!! I can save the day with my l33t video game honed skillz!" was priceless. Oh little cutesy Chekov, never ever change!

Hell, the originals are still the best, both Star Trek and Star Wars. But I'm so looking forward to the new Star Trek franchise!

The originals are always special. But I was so disappointed with the direction the Star Wars franchise took once they started making the prequels (the movies, the novels, the video games, it all went to suck). Thankfully the new Star Trek franchise is off to a great start! ^___^
