Well its been an interesting few weeks. My sister and her family spent some time with my mum and dad up in Newcastle. One of my Aunties was there as well. I was surprised to hear that my dad - who has Alzheimers - was actually in fine form! His medication is working well. Been really annoyed at someone who said they knew how to fix a problem of mine that I wrote on a previous LJ entry. Well just about to get ready for work.... I found out yesterday that I am being taken off the full time roster to give others in the department a chance to work full time. Since I am only classified as temporary full time and permanent part time I have no way to argue this. So off to look for another job yet again - I can't and won't work part ( Read more... )

Last Friday, the 18th of January, I had a day off work. The weather was really bad - rain and more rain. It was the perfect day to watch a movie and then it hit me - "Hey let's watch Cloverfield!"
