Nice. I like seeing Dru in a position of power like that. It such a change from her usual helplessness. Yay for getting past 10,000 words! :)

Well for me, Dr was only helpless when she was sick. Angelus sent her to do his dirty work with that magic shopkeeper in Season 2 which leads me to believe that he thought she was able enough. He also sent her to collect Giles.

He trusted her abilities and so do I.

And Dru kept things going while Spike was in the wheelchair before Angelus returned.

Dru was only weak for a small time, just happens to be the first time we saw her so it sorta sticks in the mind.

I liked Angel's views on why he enjoys talking with Amy. On the show, they really didn't interact much, if at all, so he'd have nothing to feel guilty about with her.

So Spike's going to go after Willow now? The Spillow lover in me applauds that idea. And of course, it'll add a new strain to his relationship with Garrison, and possibly Dru.

hehe! Yeah, a strain will be putting it lightly. But our blond baddie will find a way to convince his younger sib that this is for the best. That or beat him into submission which both of them seem to enjoy as well.

Wonderful chapter. I liked the interaction between Amy and Angel. I've always enjoyed her character. And you know I was cheering during the Willow/Spike scene. That was just so delicious.

Thanks and Welcome. I just wish there were 4 days to the weekend. Lately, work has been too busy for me to sneak in a chapter or two.

Trust me, I know what you mean. While I don't get to write while I'm at work, I sure have had the week from hell. It's been busy ever since I got back from vacation, but the last three days in particular have been freakin' insane. I hope you find more time to write soon, I've missed your stories (I'm sure I've said that before, but just in case I haven't...).
