The stuff about Xander made me giggle. And I can believe that Buffy would go into deep denial mode. Nifty chapter! Can't wait to see what happens when Angelus and Willow meet again.

Glad you liked it. And yep, Buffy's really got nobody else to talk to, so she kind of *has* to forgive Willow and do her best to forget about the whole "Angelus" thing. Of course, sooner or later she's going to have to acknowledge the fact that Angelus isn't going to go away, but right now she's living in a happy little bubble where everything's still okay *grin*.

Yay! Love his musings. Satisfied that ever-present spangel bug I have. Now it has me wondering where Spike and Dru are in this fic. They should be in Sunnydale pretty soon and I think this Angelus will be a lot nicer to Spike than the crazy unsouled one was.

Together they could cause a lot of trouble in good ole Sunny D.

and Poor Xander! He's got a lot to live up to and Angelus is not giving him a chance to be properly evil.

Glad you liked the musings. I had to come up with a whole alternate history for him, since things were quite different in some ways, and similar in others.

Sadly, Spike and Dru aren't going to make an appearance in this one. It's a fairly short story (compared to some of mine) and adding them would just complicate things too much, so I decided to leave them out.

LOL...vampXander is a lazy, selfish little sod. Don't waste any sympathy on him!

OMG. I literally had a freak out when I saw that a new chapter was up.
Anglus cringing at Buffys name made me giggle and Willow freaking out when her lab partner was killed was so funny.
Cant wait to see more Angelus/Willow action though.

Hah! Glad I could give you a good freak-out :-)

I think the next Willow/Angelus action is in chapter 8. After that, there should be quite a bit more on a regular basis.

Ok, so I know this fic isn't supposed to be all about Angelus/Xander or Angelus/Spike, but damn, you do a good job making those just as interesting as the Angelus/Willow stuff.
I love that Willow claimed to be thinking about the square root of 133,400. That was some quick thinking on her part.
I can't wait to see Angelus make his next move!

I'm glad you think it's *all* interesting. I like to cover all my bases, instead of just concentrating solely on the couple...it's a better rounded story. Although I *do* need to get some Willow/Angelus in there sometime soon, or people'll start to lose interest!

Sadly, Angelus lost Spike and Dru when they were dusted by the angry mob in Prague. In canon Spike and Dru had managed to escape the mob, although Dru was severely injured (which was why they came to Sunnydale, so that the hellmouth would help cure her--or at least that's what I think I remember). But in the alternate universe, they didn't escape. :-(

Having them souled would make for an interesting sequel, though.

In my mind, vampXander without vampWillow to tell him what to do would just not be the same as the vampXander we saw in The Wish. So I've made him a little weaker, and more submissive to Angelus.
