I was a little surprised to read this post, myself. but I'm glad you've found something that makes you so happy and excited! if you were my daughter, I'd probably react much as your folks did (read: not well). but they'll come around when they see how happy and fulfilled you feel by this new venture. so have fun! be safe and careful. and be the best damn stripper/dancer/professional-naked-person you can be! :)
