Google and I are having another spat - so I figured I'd go to you guys... What are the main attractions for a boardwalk?

Arcades, canrival-type foods (pizza, funnel cakes, ice cream, popcorn, etc.), biking/rollerblading I've got. Anything I'm missing?

Some boardwalks have Ferris Wheels.

Thanks! I'm trying to get the basic differences between boardwalks and carnivals straight so one doesn't end up sounding like the other.

Yeah I know what you mean. I had to think about it for a second because I got a bit confused when I saw carnival foods, but I think usually if there is any type of ride it's a Ferris wheel. I can't be 100percent positive since there aren't really any boardwalks here.
Maybe also little shops that sell like jewelry,things like that.

the santa cruz beach boardwalk has a carousel as well as some other rides.
is this for a DoVe fic?

I was actually looking at the San Diego Boardwalk - indoor amusement park site the other night, and I found the Santa Cruz one earlier tonight. I'm basically taking the best from what I find and applying them as they fit, trying to keep canon with both the show and the actual places.

Yes it is! :D I don't want to say too much about it - but there's some definite DoVe bonding going on at this particular boardwalk.

oh and i have a question awhile back when you posted the manips of them in their swimsuits and the winter picture you said you had fics in mind for those pics, are they still in the works?

The winter one was more or less for "Sugar, We're Going Down Swingin'".

I actually have two for the bathing suit manips - and yep. One I've almost finished and another that's maybe a quarter of the way done... I'm trying to figure out how to include more of the gang but it's likely going to be move DoVe-centric than anticipated since I just see Dick off at the casinos and the others off wherever they'd be.
