Wow I barely remember anything before 15. I could think of moments here or there, but nothing as concrete as your list.
My mom had to drop out of bio class entirely because she was having a baby. According to her, the prof gave her an A and said "you've done enough for genetics." Cute ;-)
Wow. She lucked out! My prof called me during the final because I wasn't there. I told him my contractions were 15 minutes apart and I was on the way to the hospital. He said, call me next week to schedule your makeup exam. LOL!
Unlike my algebra prof who, at the beginning of class, asked everyone what grade they wanted. We all wrote them down. He would make us retake tests until we got the grade we chose. He would show us what we did wrong on problems until we got it. He gave me an A because he said I would have gotten one anyway. That was my first and only A in algebra.
I actually had a hard time remembering things from before 15 too. It helped that I moved every 6 months. If I stayed in one place it would have blurred together.
I wanted to do an art project once where I would take pictures of all the places I've lived in my life and make a book out of it. But many of them aren't standing anymore.
Well this was in the 60s ... I'm sure college was a bit different then. My dad used to smoke cigarettes in the classroom.
Yeah I never moved. But my brothers didn't either, and they remember a lot more than I do. I just don't think there was anything eventful for my mind to hang onto.
I agree. It's only when something actually happened that I remember anything at all. The rest all blurs together like I didn't exist during those years.
I think the pig's feet traumatized me. I remember those so vividly that I can still smell them!
You wouldn't say that if you saw me wrestle at my first meet. I had my ass handed to me. I did great wrestling against our our team when we were sparring in practice. I found out very quickly that our team sucked. We were one of the worst teams, if not THE worst, in the district. Really bad.
After that meet, I practiced and trained with our team but I didn't compete against other schools. I kept score since I knew all the ref signals.
I kicked ass at water polo though! I met a guy in Mammoth who got a scholarship for waterpolo and he said he remembered playing against me. *beams*
