They will always say Ze is falling off..I though that The New Beginning would stop them but i guess not. If they think Zeebra fell of, then Jay-Z must have done a suicide dive LOL.
That's the truth! When you are at the top of your genre like Zeebra and Jay-Z, the only place to go is down, and it seems like people are too anxious to start criticizing.
hell i remember when DABO's album "The Force" came out and people heard おはようジパング ~Falling in Love Again, they swore DABO was falling off and going commercial.
That's crap. I never figured out what's so bad about being "commercial" anyways. For me, it's all about the music they put out, so if commercial means that they're gonna use other styles of music in their songs other than straight hip-hop, I'd be glad to see it. The only problem with commercial to me is people like Snoop and Diddy who are more famous for being a celebrity (especially Diddy, Snoop only recently) than they are for their music anymore. When Diddy was featured on that Christina Aguillera track recently I was reminded that he's actually a pretty good rapper.
Ohayou Jipang is probably my favorite track from the force (the light is a very close second though), and if that is "commercial" than maybe some other rappers should try doing "commercial" songs. Look, Dabo doesn't have his own movie and video game and shit like 50 cent, so I think Dabo is far from being commercial. And Zeebra doesn't have his own comedy movie about flying an airplane either.
