I think art imitates life. Danger lies in the other direction. Pattern making gets my head into a whole buncha trouble. Letting life imitate art is a recipe for disaster.

Also, you should post some real updates every once in a while.

By the way, the character who was originally based on you makes a pretty important appearance in issue 8.

You could have contacted me, Josh, I would have recommended that you bring in aliens. And then... a hot steamy sex scene. Then a dream sequence.

I had a roof-top sex scene in issue 2 or 3... right after the characters met a guy with alienized powers.

There is a sleep-sequence in issue 6 (I think).

I will remember your advice for the next time I am stuck.
