I've decided to write a few columns for everyone. This first one is an opinion piece on a television program. Just click the cut for all your columnized needs.
I didn't watch this series from the beginning, and have watched parts of the 2nd season with brother (who watched the original TV series, but likes this one beter, though he keeps on complaining that they made Starbuck a girl). What I've seen I liked. Should the TV series ever get released here on DVD I should buy it (or rent it) and watch.
I once read a interview (of sorts) with the writers. Apparently the main writer said that when he worked on a Star Trek series (not sure which one) he had to follow a lot of "rules" like "The characters must no be conflicted about their beliefs" and he enjoyed the fact that in Battlestar Galactica he could break and defy these rules.
I really hope you get to see the entire thing some time! I absolutely fell in love with the whole thing when renting it. It really is the best show on TV.
