So when Lois woke up in the padded cell my intial assumption was that she was having a dream, but when Lionel started being all logical I panicked for moment, because "oh noes, what if it's *not* a dream?" (Well then Clark will save them, so no worries really). But yes, you did a very good job of making the obvious dream sequence feel like a possible plot progression.
