*sniffle* This chapter really captures Clark's turmoil during Vengeance - I'm so glad that Lex was there to help (and Lois too in her own pitbull-ish way).

*hands you tissue* Thank you, I tried. I didn't want to angst too much, but I felt like it kind of needed to happen the way it did -- I mean, Lois and Lex combined? There's no way they would've let Clark get away with bottling things up like he did in Vengeance, y'know? So there ya go:) ...Though, there are some things that got glossed over here, so Part 2 will refer back to this a little. ^_^;;

Sort of a BTS here: this was actually the second thread of how I thought of things going. The first idea didn't have this scene at all, but -did- have the Lex and Lana scene and... well, the first thought may yet happen in a different form later in the series, so I don't want to give it away just yet... we'll see! *eg*
