I am almost completely off for a whole week!!! I just have a couple of things to work on from home and I am sure I will get getting a million calls on Monday when they move the servers and test them, but otherwise I am in the clear. SWEET FREEDOM

I never thought of going to a beauty school to get a haircut. :3 Are their prices usually cheaper?

Oh, yeah! And you can request the level of student, too. I go to Aveda and the haircuts range from $16-20. It does take longer because an instructor has to approve the student's plans and then check their work, but if you have a little extra free time, it's worth it. My first visit they did a cut, color, and highlights and I paid $60 for the whole thing (but I was there 3 hours).

LOL, the young gay man who did my hair for my wedding (in 1986!) also wanted to do my face. He didn't shellack the foundation but OMFG he made my eyes look like Cleopatra, which is totally not me. I was running late in my wedding prep that morning or I would have made him fix my eyes. Instead I paid the extra $$ for the makeup, went home, wiped off the eye makeup and re-did my eyes.

LOL! I'd like to see that Cleopatra look. ^_~ Was it Elizabeth Taylor's Cleopatra? Because that's some serious eyeliner...

I cleansed my face 3 times that night and every time, I wiped away more foundation!

You and I would seriously get along. I find myself agreeing heartily with almost everything you write as I'm reading it.

Not that this has anything to do with our personalities, but we both have the week off!! Yay!!! I'm so glad for the extended holiday. I really needed it, as I'm sure you did too. All I've been thinking about lately is accidentally getting on a plane to Europe, and accidentally not coming back until March.

I also love wrapping presents... It's like I can have a little craft hour to just listen to music and cut pretty paper.

And, omg, I have had hot wings for dinner. I know what they do! Darn you, TGI Fridays wings, always calling my name from the frozen food aisle!

HOORAY for vacay!!! But, seriously, my cray-cray family is making me look forward to going back to the office, LOL. But come to think of it, your "Oops, I'm on a plane!" idea sounds better...
