It's pure nostalgia, happy memories that seem to bump into one another as soon as it gets cool. Football and pie and new sweaters. Halloween and the rush toward the holidays. Shopping and a fire in the grate and wrapping paper.
Word. Now I'm all warm and fuzzy. *g* Fall is my favorite!
Ooh, and I had a similar case of the warm-fuzzies on Monday; it was all chilly and drizzly and gray, but a friend and I split a s'mores plate at Cosi that afternoon and it was kind of the best thing ever, gossiping and blowing out our flaming marshmallows and looking at the rain. Mmm, autumn.
