When I found this icon, I realized I could finally reply to this post. It's a lame attempt to say 'well, we're kinda sorta a community....' Except there is no life to it, no sharing tea on my porch, no mutual basking in something mutually significant. Yes, I agree, camaraderie is better in person. And the particular community you experienced that day is unique and compelling. I have made real-life friends though, with online acquaintances, and I will always hold out hope that someday you and I will have a cuppa, and gab and chat like the old friends we are. 8-)
