I thought the Toyota ads after their cars apparently killed a bunch of people were bad enough. Apparently they started a trend. In today's global economy it seems to be okay to cause widespread death and devastation provided you have the PR team to make people forget.

The boy's brother keeps watching everything about the oil spill on CNN. He said earlier that he never thought that it would reach Florida. I said I wasn't surprised and that we should go visit the Jersey Shore before it's too late.

I'm just heartbroken about the whole thing, and I feel my cynicism growing by leaps and bounds every day.

Yeah, that's a really good point. The Toyota ads kind of bummed me out too, and I agree, maybe that set a new moral standard. Interesting!
