I've got an EOS 5 - shoot film it's great - also have a film scanner - now that makes big files 70 - 140 MB depending on settings usually. NAS storage is a must really. I've got a few Terastations, but this also looks good - http://www.reghardware.co.uk/2008/09/30/review_wd_sharespace/
NAS.... no the word is ReadyNAS. The latest firmware for mine adds support for 1.5TB drives so 4 x 1.5 x RAID 5 = about 4.5GB of space if I need it. Still only got just over 60% of my 4 x 320GB x RAID 5 setup full.
The only thing that leaves me twitchy with RAID-5 is that the disks aren't individually useable in the event of a failure. But then, that's why you backup the RAID system periodically.
Another solution that did amuse me is an eSATA port multiplier with a 4 drive bay system. The admin is slightly greater than ReadyNAS, but eSATA is sooooooooo fast.

I'm thinking a NAS device might be in order next year.
