What do you do to PC powersupplies?

(And why aren't you on IM?)

I don't know what I do, I just turn the PC on and run it. I wasn't even there this weekend to use it. The worst part is that I deliberately bought that PSU over capacity so I'd be covered.

And knowing you, you were on IM at 6am or something, and I don't officially exist until 8am at the earliest.

'n you switch it off 'n all, don't you? Hrm. Maybe this is the payback for being able to run windows ;-)

It was 2am, which is why I was surprised you weren't on ;)

Too much photoshop is bad for your PSU anonymous September 15 2008, 08:15:40 UTC
If you will do multi-layered photoshop imagery until the sun comes up on a repeated basis, and shoot so that the computer always needs 'just one more internal hard disk' then the PSU is going to take a hammering.

Get a big PSU (it can heat the house in the winter too) and maybe a surge protection cable or a UPS

I HAVE A SPARE PSU I'M TRYING TO GIVE AWAY FOR FREE!!

I bet you've bought one already :-(

How about I give it to you as a spare?

Also, my first line reminds me of the Nigerian scam.

Damn. I made an emergency purchase at PC World this morning.

You'll have to find someone else to help with the "government fees" required to release your PSU.
