Goodness gracious! Cannibals... That can't be good, especially if they're supplementing their diet with zombie bits.

No, not good at all. I probably should elaborate a bit in another post about my points of deviation from "War of the Dead," since there are some points where I'm faithful to the adventure as written, but my interpretation of the high frequency of "cannibal" incidents in Chapter 2 takes a slightly different course.
