P.S., Gwendel and I were playing Portal 2 last night (or, technically, I was playing it on her computer, mostly, while she watched and made commentary), and saw you were online. (Gwendel's account is "Gwendel_Chan.")
I discovered that I could see what Steam games you'd picked up. Aha!
Hmm. "Blast Kitten." It has anime-style cat girls and power armor. Hey, I wonder why in the world TuftEars would pick up this game? ;)
Anyway, I am guessing we must be about 2/3 through the game or so. We recovered the potato and just got out of the quarantined area, whereupon I called a halt to things since (once again!) it was getting rather late. (I wish there were some way I could have the current time display on screen while I'm playing, or set an alarm to remind me to GO TO BED at a particular time.)
Ah. I knew it was something like that, but I was going by memory.
I recall hearing that there was something like 6-8 hours of gameplay in Portal 2, but I think Gwendel and I have already exceeded that. =) For instance, once I got to the point with the crazy white paint dispenser, I couldn't help but see just how MUCH of the area I could plaster in white paint by redirecting portals everywhere. I kept wondering whether, if I covered enough space with white paint, other areas of paint would start to disappear. (After all, I note how in first person shooters, "blast damage" on walls and such only lasts for so long before it mysteriously fades, or else there seems to be a finite number of "blast marks" or "bullet holes" the system can keep track of.) I finally had to move on, though, since while it was initially amusing to Gwendel, after a while it was getting a bit old. Ah well!

If you shift-tab while in-game, there's a time display there in the Steamworks page.
