"Hey," Axel called out, slouching toward Muraki while Aurelius trailed after him, not looking very interested in meeting new people at all. "You lost?"
Methodius had the decency to keep completely neutral, an easy task for a snake, and in return Muraki ignored the amusement he could practically feel. He gave the stranger a benign half-smile.
"So it seems." He replied, his gaze remaining on the man. He wasn't too interested in the jackal. If it was trotting after someone in a less-than-predatory manner, there were only a few conclusions he could draw.
"Are you a resident here? I was hoping to find somewhere to have lunch."
"Yeah, I live here. Well, in the college, anyway," Axel drawled, and he turned to wave his hand in the general direction. "It's that way, if you were trying to get to it. Lot of people have been randomly showing up lost around here lately."
"It's not so surprising they'd be lost considering the size of this place." Muraki mused. His smile turned faintly sharp when he glanced back at the collage. "But it's a little dangerous to have strangers wondering the campus, don't you think? You never know what sort you'll get."
