Wandrei - he's almost forgotten these days, isn't he? I only vaguely recall him as the author of some Cthulhu Mythos fiction. I'll have to check around to see what else he wrote.

Even more interesting -- there were two weird tales writing Wandrei brothers -- Donald (1908-1987) and Howard (1909-1956). Donald was prolific and also wrote poetry; Howard had less written output but was also a visual artist.

I vaguely recall reading those two names before, but for some reason I thought they were referring to the same person.

Oh, and thanks. I checked Wandrei out out on Wikipedia because of your entry; and that lead me to Arkham House. I'm very happy to see that AH still exists and has returned to its focus on weird fiction!
