Mitt Romney Gets the Point

Mitt Romney's comment on Obama's apologies to Islam in the wake of the diplomatic facility attacks?

It's disgraceful that the Obama Administration's first response was not to condemn attacks on our diplomatic missions, but to sympathize with those who waged the attacks.

This is excellent news.  It means that Mitt Romney gets it.  It means that, as ( Read more... )

not quite.
in this interview with Stephanopulos he sounds..."WELL," (/sarcasm on/off) like an indecisive, cowardly and boring RINO, agreeing with WH every 2nd word.

"Well, I indicated, at the time, and continue to that what was said at that time was not appropriate, that they continued to have that. They reiterated the statement after the then breaching of the grounds. And I think that was wrong. And by the way my statement was the same point, which was that the White House said they distanced themself from the statement. I also thought it was an inappropriate statement. I made the statement- my point at the same time, I think, the White House did. So I think we said about the same thing there. I just thought the statement was wrong."

yak. Not a person I can vote for.

Obama condemned the attackers while not taking sides with those who made the "Innocence of Muslims."

"I have made it clear that the United States has a profound respect for people of all faiths," Obama said in his weekly radio address.

"Yet there is never any justification for violence .... There is no excuse for attacks on our embassies and consulates,” he added.

He also condemned the movie. Which was playing into the Islamists' hands, as he's buying into the "Hostage Fallacy," that the movie provoked the violence.

The violence was unprovoked, and all he should be saying is that any states or organizations which fomented it will be turned into toast by the application of US firepower.

Didn't Romney make that comment about a statement that had been released *before* the attack?
