I can see that nothing I ever say or do will remove from you and the rest of the American right the idiotic superstition that Mussolini, let alone Hitler, were ever considered men of the left after 1918. Unfortunately, you have party political reasons to believe this UTTER FUCKING NONSENSE and so does Sowell. My only advice to you is keep it to yourself if you ever find yourselves in Italy or in Germany - indeed, anywhere in Europe. You would risk being sectioned under the local mental health legislation.

I notice that your only response to this thread's conclusion is to basically tell us that we're stupid and list places where you believe we wouldn't be allowed basic freedom of speech. Don't you have any actual logical rebuttal? Or do you have nothing more than stock insults and vague threats?

I have not gone though all of the materiel but it seems Sowell missing a disturbing fact that Fascism (in my own words) is in way and at odds to the individual. To Fascist the individual doesn't not exist. I can see where Obama has some fascist leanings the need for a centralized authority. I still need to look into this more.

I'm very glad to see this... I've been saying for years that Communism and Fascism are two fingers on the same hand, and I'm glad to see other people coming independently to the same conclusion!
