The argument I've been hearing is that somehow, after this totalitarian state is reached, those in power will either give it up voluntarily or society will magically transition into some form of socialist anarchy, in which there is no property, yet resources are somehow still managed efficiently. It seems to go:

1. Revolution
2. Totalitarianism
3. ?????
4. Profit Socialist Anarchy.

It's insane utopianism at best.

Insane, perhaps, but purely Marxist. He stated that this is how societies are destined to develop.

You'd think that the attempt by the Occupy Wall Street crowd to duplicate the Socialist Anarchy would be an ample lesson to the folly of it.
