so i'm not one to read those emailed daily devotionals cuz i find them to be bull 40% of the time, lacking in scripture 40% of the time, and decent/enlightening only 20% of the time. if you like it or are challenged by it, then hey, more power to you...we all have our preferences and are stimulated in different ways. but i must say i was truly ( Read more... )

i think that you should respond to him and tell him how weak his argument is. he is being one of the christians that makes non believers never want to become a christian.

i would engage them. that way if they have to fall back on their partner, i can challenge them and then engage the more senior partner of the group. they always let the newbies speak first to get their feet wet.
