As an aspiring writer of poems, I am compelled from time to time to submit my work to magazines--both print and online.

I was fortunate enough to be published in the Berkeley Poetry Review for the past two years, and I'm happy to report that I've been published on an online literary magazine:

What's left is a voice that splits his being down to the center...Iv been trying to get a hold of a certain guy and in one of his pictures has that line written on his hand as hes staring in the mirror. So i figured I'd search where it came from. His name is Dasistdasheil13.

The line you quote is from a Russian poet named Ilya Kaminsky. He wrote a collection of poems called "Dancing in Odessa." The specific poem to which you are referring is "Musica Humana"--a wonderful, wise, and moving poem.

I am a commercial freelance painter. I primarily work in watercolor. I have an agent who promotes my work to be licensed out onto products. I'm not exactly where I want to be success wise, but amazing things are luckily starting to happen! I do love working in pencil as well(when I find the time). I've also worked in acrylic. The only thing I've wanted to tackle, but have yet to is oil. I have everything to make it happen...I just need to find the right time! I'm also hoping to own a kiln someday. I would LOVE to get into pottery...as well as a million other creative ventures. It's too bad we can't expand our days haha. I guess it's all about "making it happen".
