The Autumn

 Autumn is one of my favorite seasons because it is the most refined.  There is a gentle quality to the autumn, how the heat fades as gradually as the colors on the leaves.  Death is beautiful, none as beautiful as that of the summer.

It's love. I like to say things like, "if you believe in love, you believe in god." Trite, eh? I really think that though. Cuz I'm a goddamn hippie. Whatever form you think it takes on, or however you worship it (or not), there's something sacred about being human and knowing what love is (or at least being confused about what love is or being able to think about what love is) so you can call it god and be in awe of it and I really think it's that simple. What's the word for that? It means "someone who thinks all religions are valid" or whatever. There's a word for it, but I can't remember. Pluralism?

I like to play in the margins of theistic belief. I like to think that all ways of believing or disbelieving in God bring me closer to God and myself.
