Dollhouse

So, I enjoy pretty much every pie Joss Whedon puts his finger in, but his new show Dollhouse hasn't been satisfying my pie craving. The sixth episode, however, was pie-tastic. Haven't seen it yet as we were busy watching the last episode of Battlestar, but I am psyched to hear it rose to the level! Yay!

I very much liked the pacing and method of storytelling in this episode. The dialogue is still very painful, in much the same way that Chuck's was painful in the first few episodes. Hopefully it dials back the hip-factor and just let's the show be more organic. Other than that, this was the first one I truly liked.

I have to agree on the dialogue. The feeling I get is that a Fox exec is putting notes like "Sexier!" and "Make it more fun!" in the margins.

I think this episode worked so well in part because it was not the Echo show. If most of the episodes from here on out aren't centered on Eliza's personality of the week I think the show could see a second season.
