Thanks for the storyboarding tip, Jo. I recently read Cheryl Klein's book, Second Sight, and decided to try out her bookmapping technique for my revision. Similar to the storyboard, it's been *so* helpful to have this condensed cheat-sheet at my fingertips. I color-coded the story lines, which made it super easy to recognize gaps in character development, relationships, and plot. I keep the bookmap next to my computer and have been referring to it constantly throughout the revision process. How did I ever revise without a bookmap? Now I'll have to think about adding some images. :)
Over here, I finished my first revision pass for my novel and sent it off to crit partners. Crossing fingers madly! And I'm going to try to write (or at least start) a new short story while I wait to hear back.
