Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni is supposed to be really good, but I only got through one episode before I couldn't stand it the last time I watched it. I have a pretty good idea what it's about, and I'm totally in the mood for something psycho, so I thought I'd give it another shot

I can't say I know exactly what a "moe" voice is, but believe me when I say that a significant number of people ACTUALLY DO talk like that. I'm definitely feeling the culture shock, so a bunch of little things are bothering me more than they should, but people's annoying, fake-sounding voices are certainly near the top of my list...
