Review: Good? Grr...

Bah. That sucks. Given a good because of a few mistakes early on in the term. Now I admit, that's kinda crappy and I probably could have not made those mistakes had I spent a bit more time with the thing but the project was at the 'ending' phase and I wanted to catch up! Sigh. Most annoying was that I was compared to the previous 2 co-ops and ( Read more... )

I really don't think reviews matter that much. Well actually I guess it depends on the employer...
But a previous co-op student I know got a "Marginal" here and later went and got a really great job in Ottawa for the government.
So a good doesn't seem too bad, just load up your resume ; )

Hmm. I think it just depends on the employer that's hiring you next. Some of them might care, but I guess that most don't. (Especially since it's nothing too extreme).

I'm sure you do have competitive qualities that are an advantage over others. Whether technical, communicative, managerial, interpersonal, or business-related, there are strengths in all of us. I guess the thing to do when competing is to endorse yourself as strong in all areas, and futhermore uniquely strong in one area. But I'm sure you already know that ;)

I feel for you, man. Knowing your tenacity, you deserve at least a very good, but I guess they're going by the strict definition or avoiding grade bloat. I'm a bit worried myself ^.^()

But, you got evaluated already? I guess you can spend the next couple weeks showing them how 'good' you are, huh?

bah. Well they tested me really early w/o any one-on-one training. So I didn't do too well and they weren't at the stage to teach me. Therefore it kinda destroyed their confidence in me. Then I got no work of value assigned for a while because they couldn't trust me to do it, and thus not letting me prove myself until the last 2months. What a pain.
