As much as I loathe the "JON STEWART IS LEFT! LEFT! LEFT!" meme, I have to say I'm excited. Jon always kicks ass on O'Reilly's show and O'Reilly seemed actually pleased to be there the last time he attended TDS.
You know I wonder if for guests like O'Reilly (and Jim Cramer) the audience has to be sternly warned against booing.
Also, that caricaturist was clearly O'Reilly-biased! ;^) Notice the added hair, chin, and the fact Jon mildly resembles Droopy Dog (AND S/HE DIDN'T CAPTURE THE GLORIOUS BLUE-GREEN ECSTASY OF HIS EYES!!! Uh, ahem).
I don't think it's the worst pairing ever. It beats Stewart/Cooper, and his relationship with O'Reilly can be explored a lot more. Love/hate relationships are a classic. Another good one, and one he seems to stress the "hate" part of the relationship more with, is Stewart/Beck.
